York Golf Club (Strensall)

Founded 1890, this fine 18 hole heathland course is surrounded by Strensall Common. The fairways are lined by a wide variety of fir and silver birch trees. The flat nature of the ground, and the excellent condition in which the course is always maintained, make it ideal for the 36-hole-a-day enthusiast.
