The Church of St Nicholas and St Swithun is the sixth smallest church in England, St Nicholas and St Swithun is difficult to find. About 2½ miles along the A415 to Abingdon from Witney, there is right turn signposted to Yelford. When you pass the Manor on your right, take the right hand bend, the opening to the church is on the right. The village disappeared at the time of the Black Death.
