The museum is housed in an attractive 18th century house, with landscaped gardens.
People have lived here for over a thousand years - visitors can climb the Norman Castle mound which gives great views over the town.
Inside the museum you will find the story of the Wycombe area: the industries, the people, and the landscape, featuring a world famous collection of chairs, 1920's kitchen, Victorian laundry room, collection of woodworking tools and much more.
Exhibition space shows a changing programme from history to contemporary art.
