Education centre has pottery, fabric and armour which may be touched bird song and lilac blossom in grounds basilica is laid out in contrasting colours shop/museum has easy access snacks available in summer.
The excavated centre of the fourth largest city in Roman Britain, with impressive remains of the 2nd century municipal baths. The museum has finds from town and earlier legionary fortress.
