URPoint Details

All Saint’s church is built of flint with limestone dressing, and the east and north walls of the chancel are rendered.

The base of the tower appears to be Early English of about 1250-1300, but the upper stages are dated 1852 after they had collapsed. The nave is in Perpendicular style of about 1450.

On the north side of the nave is a transept built in 1852 to provide 150 free seats to qualify for a grant, as recorded in the cast iron panel in the vestry.
The south porch was rebuilt in flint in 1852.

The first recorded date of a rector is 1306, and the register dates from 1658.
