Beautiful little village set in beautiful countryside of rich farmland, sheep and dairy herds. Around the village square stand some fine old houses built in the 1600s.
The famous cloth was founded here in the late 1300's when weavers used the ’long staple wool’ from Norfolk sheep.
The magnificent church of St Mary's dates from 1379 when it replaced St Andrew's.
The New Inn, down a little side street is well worth a stop and was built in 1825 in Norfolk flint.
