The remaining part of the fine old manor house destroyed in the Civil War, includes a gatehouse dated 1613. It was here that Prince Rupert slept the night before the Battle of Edgehill in 1642
The Trans-Norman and early English church contains a loft screen, and a 17th century monument to the son of the first Lord Spencer of Wormleighton.
