Woburn Country Walks - Bedfordshire

There are some lovely walks around and through the grounds of the Abbey. One such walk from the Royal Oak Pub in Woburn to the Green Man in Eversholt passes through the grounds past Abbotts Oak where the last Abbot Robert Hobbs was hung for treason in 1521, then passes the lake and Abbey towards Paris House and on to Eversholt. Paris House a mock Tudor building from the Paris Exhibition was brought back in sections by the Duke and is now a restaurant renowned for its fine foods and chef school.
