A lovely village in Shakespeare’s country, with old half-timbered cottages and almshouses, and even has a a thatched shelter for the vicar’s horse, and is believed to be the only one of its kind in Great Britain.
In the church, the roof has some 400 carved bosses and there is a splendid 15th century brass.
