Set in wooded country, Witley has a common of more than 500 acres and one outstanding beauty point is at Sweet Water.
The parish Church of All Saints still has traces of its Anglo- Saxon period, including parts of the nave walls, and in the west gable there is a window with an oaken framework believed to be more than one thousand years old.
