The Church of St Andrew is associated with the founding of a college here by Sir John Wingfield on his death in 1360. The tower is 14th century and in the north chancel there is a monument to him.
Between the chancel and the south chapel is a monument to Michael de la Pole who died in 1415, a rare example of wooden figures.
There are also some fine monuments to John and Elizabeth de la Pole 1491 and has their effigies in alabaster under a canopied altar tomb. Elizabeth was the sister of Edward IV and Richard III.
