Disabled visitors may be driven to the farm ask for directions from ticket office in Stable Block. Access in and around the farmyard is on concrete and gravel paths; ramped entrances to all buildings. Access to Barn & Farm Museum is via one step; car must be taken to avoid vehicles on displays.
The Home Farm was built in 1794 as a model farm, and has been restored. The Great Barn, designed by Sir John Soane, houses a collection of farm machinery of the kind used here over 200 years ago.
Rare breeds of animals, including sheep, cattle, poultry, pigs, horses and goats, can be viewed in paddocks and in thatched buildings.
There is an adventure woodland and wagon rides drawn by the fabulous Shire horses.
