St Oswald’s Church is a tiny 13th century church with a bell turret and stands on its own in the middle of a field in the Windrush Valley and found in 1904 to be built on the base of a Roman house or temple. The church has remnants of an 11th century Saxon or Norman building including the dividing wall, a chevroned corbel and the plain rough font. Uncovered are Roman tessellated pavement and several 14th century wall paintings. The nave has early 19th century box pews.
