URPoint Details
St Mary's Church (Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust). The church is graced with the finest tower and spire in Cambridgeshire: built in the 15th century.
In the approach from Thorney it dominates the fen setting of the town. Most of the church is earlier, the oldest part being the chancel arch and north nave arcade of the 13th century. There is a monument to Sir Harry Smith, the famous 19th century soldier.
