URPoint Details
An interesting 15th century cruciform church, with a barrel-vaulted chancel, porch and massive tower.
The carved wooden front of the north gallery dates from the 17th century.
A Holy Well, visited by Aeneas Silvius, later Pope Pius II, the church owes its origin to the well discovered in 1294.
Near the church is a two-storeyed tithe barn dating from around the 16th and 17th century and once used as a grain storage depot by the monks from Holyrood.
