White Mill, (NT) - Kingston Lacey

Limited car spaces for severely disabled people in front of mill. Main car park, with shaded areas, is about 100yds away. Mill has wheelchair access to ground floor only and internal mirrors enable viewing of upper floors. Garden has easy access. Braille and large print guides, photographs, audio guide and handling of collection permitted. Toilets at Kingston Lacy Estate.
Rebuilt in 1776, the Domesday Site corn mill was extensively repaired in 1994. It contains much of the original and rare timber, 18th century machinery (now too fragile to be operative), and is set in peaceful surroundings by River Stour.
