Whaddon Chase is located on high and still reasonably wooded country to the west of Bletchley.
At its northern side is the rather straggly village of Whaddon, close to the park that surrounds Whaddon Hall, the brick-built mansion (of 1820).
The nearby church, mostly of the 14th century, contains interesting 16th century monuments and a beautifully,carved tub font.
