URPoint Details
There was a priory here in the 12th century and behind the ruins on the north side are some of the stone walls. Next to the church is Abbey Farm House dating from 14th century. The entrance from the east is past the windmill now a private home, and to the south of this lovely little village was once a small lake, used by the monks for fishing. The views from the top of the hill are fantastic and well worth coming to see.
