A spacious triangular green dominates the village with buildings mainly of local stone.Corby Castle on the opposite bank of the River Eden, towers above trees, has been owned by the Howard family since the 17th century. The 16th century Church of the Holy Trinity has an octagonal tower and some interesting effigies.
