URPoint Details
The Church of St Andrew dates from Norman times and has had many additions of later periods. The south aisle was once the Norman nave and until the 13th century when the west tower was added there was a fine Norman west facade. There is a fine seven-sacrament font, an elaborately carved screen shows paintings of a number of saints and biblical characters. A tomb in the south-east corner of the south aisle commemorates the late Nicholas Bohun d.1602 and over it is an unusual brass with a genealogical table of their family.
St Andrew's Church was listed at Grade I on 1 September 1953
