The Church of St Mary Magdalene has a superb single hammerbeam roof, where the wall posts meet the ends of the hammerbeams there are angels with outstretched wings.
The church has a memorial to a Major J R Whitefoord who, having successfully survived the Napoleonic Wars was accidentally shot by a friend while out shooting.
Another plaque is to Henry M Cautley one of Westerfields best known citizens, son of a former rector whose books on Norfolk and Suffolk churches are standards works of reference.
