About a mile to the southwest on the Glastonbury road is the ‘Pontis Vallum Stone’ on the A361.
The church has a 15th century spired tower, with angels and canopied niches enriching the west front, there is a 16th century screen, fine old roofs and an ancient churchyard cross.
