The Church of the Holy Trinity is a large church and rises beside the river like a little cathedral. The Restoration font and cover, the early benches and box-pews, and a 15th century screen. The church dates to 1300 and is a Grade I listed building. It is featured as the wedding venue of James and Helen Herriot in the British television series All Creatures Great and Small, in the episode "The Last Furlong".
