Weavers' Triangle - Burnley

Take a walk along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath through the Weavers' Triangle - a well preserved Victorian industrial landscape.
Examine buildings including weaving-sheds, spinning-mills, warehouses, foundries, domestic buildings and school from the days when Burnley led the world in weaving cotton cloth.
Inspect a fine canal-side wharf, and the nearby Burnley Embankment, one of the seven wonders of the British Waterways system.
The steam engine is open for static viewing 2-4pm on the last Sunday of the month from April to October.
