Wasdale Head

The only road into the small village comes abruptly to a stop at the end of the street and from here the only way to the mountains and valleys is by foot.
The village overshadowed by the massive bulk of Great Gable is a great spot for climbers and walkers with names like Black Sail Pass, or Sty Head and tracks lead up to Scafell, Napes and Pillar Rock.
