Walsingham - Church of St Peter

South of the village are the ruins of the 14th century church lying in a field on a slope overlooking the beautiful valley. It has fine window carvings and the original clerestory windows are still intact, one of the few examples to be found in the country. The bells date from 1330 and the beams are original from when the church was thatched.
