Walsham Le Willows - Church of St Mary the Virgin

The church of St Mary is 15th century and has a fascinating history where pews of unmarried girls who have died are marked with a medallion.
Suspended in the nave is a rare example of a ‘Virgin’s Crant’, a tiny circular memorial dated November 1685 to Mary Boyce who died ‘of a fatal blow from Cupids Shaft’.
