URPoint Details
Walford Church of St Michael's and All Angels has Norman origins, and the unusually placed north-east tower was once detached. The interior has many features including pointed arches, the windows at the east end are Perpendicular Gothic dating from 1430. The 15th century font, the remaining door from the medieval rood loft and the Cromwellian funeral helm are all very interesting and worth taking a closer look at.
