Wakerley Great Wood is situated between Wakerley village and the A43 is managed by the Forest Enterprise, part of the Forestry Commission and is one of Northamptonshire\'s valuable ancient woodlands. There has been continuous woodland cover on this site for many centuries and supports a wide variety of plants and animals.
Wakerley Great Wood provides the ideal opportunity to enjoy a network of waymarked trails, Orienteering courses, picnic sites, BBQ and toilets. Suitable for families and some paths for wheelchair users.
