URPoint Details
The 14th century Church of St Bartholomew is a Grade I listed building and has some fine Jacobean screens and an unusual roof, supported by oak posts. It also has a nave and chancel from the 14th century. The roof, nave and other woodwork including the screen were renewed by the craftsman John Abel around 1613.
