URPoint Details
Immediately south-west of Ramsey, this parish includes the village of Upwood and the wayside communities of Great and Little Raveley.
Little Raveley, has a small cluster of cottages and a lovely small Perpendicular church. Picturesque Upwood has grown residentially and the extensive areas of airfield housing now almost link it with Ramsey.
The school makes a contribution to the village scene with the metallic sculptures in its grounds, whilst more traditional is the grouping of church and great house. The wonderful church dating back to Norman times - features a Jacobean font cover and some 15th century stained glass.
Upwood House, was built in the 17th century.
