URPoint Details
Church of St Peter, (Cambridgeshire's Historic Church, over the border in Norfolk). It has an attractive texture of brick and stone and a waterside setting. The nave is galleried inside and has a roof decorated with angels. Also of note are brasses and an unusual Queen Victoria coat of royal arms.
There are simple screen of one-light divisions in the chancel and north chapel. A tablet to Peter Phesaunt dated 1649 has a Latin inscription, and one to Sir Richard and Lady Bickerton dated 1811.
