All Saints Church Turvey, originally Saxon was restored in the 19th century and during renovations a 13th century painting was discovered, 12th century font and iron scrollwork on the south door. There are some lovely brasses and monuments and the eight bells of the church still ring on Sundays. David Livingstone's tutor was the pastor of the Congregational church. Pleasant public footpaths lead along the riverbank and around the village.
