URPoint Details
Truro Cathedral was completed in 1910, and is in part connected to the 16th century parish church.
The former parish church of St Mary stood on the site of the cathedral. All the old church was demolished except the south aisle which has been incorporated in the new building. An Early English style started in 1880. There are two west towers and another over the point where the nave and chancel meet which is most unusual. They are all crowned with stone spires.
