URPoint Details
The Church of St Botolph, is a wonderful Perpendicular church full of interesting features. The hexagonal font canopy is remarkable and is one of the only four in England. Six columns support the canopy which has intricate woven designs and has to be seen to be believed. The nave roof has hammer-beams with spandrels filled with carved tracery and the priest’s door porch has a buttress right in the middle of its roof.
