Disabled access on fairly firm gravel and close parking on request garden: advisable to keep to Jubilee Garden and Lower Stream area, avoiding gravelled inclines to paths south of drive. Flat, firm, gravelled viewpoints around the house. Walled gardens best approached from west end, keeping to gently sloping gravelled path at east end. Fragrant plants include azaleas, rhododendrons and magnolias streams, pools and sounds of flowing water.
This large shrub garden, with views over Mount\'s Bay, is particularly colourful in spring and early summer. The walled garden has many tender plants, which cannot be grown, in the open anywhere else in England.
