This little market town sits in the middle of moorland and mountain and about a mile from the famous Cors Goch Caron or the Bog of Tregaron. It stretches about four miles with rare plants and is the longest bog in both England and Wales.
Tregaron is named after an Irish saint, Caron, Ciaran or in Cornwall Piran.
