URPoint Details
A village on Loch Slapin a few miles from the stalagmite cave of Spar, which can be entered at low tide.
Situated on the Strathaird peninsula rises the great black Coolin peak of Blaven at 3,042ft with its notable rock ridge of Clach Glas well known to climbers.
To the east on the Broadford road is the little Loch Cill Chriosd in Strath Suardal with the ruined church of Kilchrist dating from the 16th or 17th century.
