Disabled car parking adjacent to Centre; Access by ramp into Centre; With care, a car with a disabled person may proceed down the gravel road for some 600 yards to reach the Deer Museum. Two step (4 and 5") at entrance to museum. Pedestrian access through a wide gate to the hind-park, but the grass in the field may be quite long. Cars offer good views of the mountains, lochs and coastline, including Shieldaig Island.

A 16,100 acre estate including some of Scotland's finest mountain scenery, comprising Liathach (3456ft), which has seven tops, and Beinn Alligin (3232ft).

The mountains, in addition to their scenic splendour, hold much of interest to geologists and naturalists. Liathach is of Torridonian sandstone some 750 million years old and the tops, of white quartzite some 150 million years younger.
