URPoint Details
A village at the heart of some of Scotland’s most magnificent wild scenery Beinn Eighe, Liathach, Beinn Alligin at 3232ft, and Beinn Dearg 2995ft, cluster round the village north of Upper Loch Torridon.
The mountains lining both sides of the valley are formed of red Torridonian sandstone and the horizontal rock strata give the slopes a distinctive banded appearance.
