Stanbridge is the larger of the two villages which are both now unfortunately part of the main throughway between Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable and the A5.
The old church beside the green is lovely as is the pub which takes it name from the church bells'' Five Bells".
There are still a couple of local working farms and dairy produce can be bought from Bluegate Farm.
Tilsworth is the smaller village and has a lovely Old Vicarage, church, interesting churchyard with gravestone dated 1821.
