URPoint Details
A pretty village on either side of the River Coquet lies in the stunning countryside of Simonstone. The peak of Simonstone stands at 1409ft and gives its name to the whole range of sandstone hills. Heather clad hills contrast with the gentle pasture land of the lower reaches of Coquetdale. This has to be seen in August particularly when the hills are amass of purple heather.
