Thomas Rowlandson born 13 July 1756 was an English artist and caricaturist. He illustrated Tour of Dr Syntax, Tour of Dr Syntax in Search of the Picturesque and Dr Syntax in Search of Consolation and Third Tour of Dr Syntax in Search of a Wife.
