URPoint Details
The rivers Thet and Little Ouse meet in the centre of this charming town, once the capital for the Danes in the 9th century. In the 11th century there were 13 churches in the town and when Edward III was king there were supposedly 20.
Ancient House Museum in White Hart St is 15th century. The flint and brick Dolphin Inn is dated 1694.
The 16th century Bell Hotel is a mainly Elizabethan half-timbered building overlooking the river and a three way bridge.
