The Tan Hill Inn in Richmond in the Yorkshire Dales is the highest inn in England at 1,732 feet (528 m) above sea level.
Tan Hill is a high point on the Pennine Way. It also won the right to continue to call its Christmas dinner a "family feast", which Kentucky Fried Chicken had registered as a trademark.
