URPoint Details
Starting at the East Lighthouse at Sutton Bridge, you can walk ten miles along the bank on the foreshore of Terrington Marshes to West Lynn. The foreshore is a haven for birds, and samphire (a marsh plant rich in minerals) grows in abundance. This is collected, boiled or pickled and eaten, and is a great delicacy in these parts.
