URPoint Details
St Mary's Church, in Thame is open 9am to dusk daily. Built in the 13th century, it has some very fine brasses. See the flowing tracery in the Decorated aisle windows, and the elaborate vaulted south porch of the same period. The 16th century stalls in the chancel have linenfold panelling and poppyheads, and the chancel screen has prettily carved shafts. There is an impressive marble tomb in the chancel to Lord Williams, d1559, and his wife.
