A small resort at the point where the Pass of Brander meets Loch Etive, and overlooked by the impressive and beautiful Ben Cruachan rising to 3,689ft.
There is a large stone near Muckairn Church which was re-erected by workmen to commemorate the 1805 Trafalgar victory of Lord Nelson.
