St Edmund’s Church, is a fine church dating from the Saxon period and was mentioned in the Domesday Book although basically Norman it was added to in the Decorated style in 1350.
The church dedicated to St Edmund, King and Martyr and also to a patron saint, St Walstan who was a Taverham man. A Grade I listed building.
