URPoint Details
A village with a graceful bridge which joins a ten-arch causeway leading to the village of Stanton by Bridge. The bridge was built in the 13th century and restored at the beginning of the 19th century. According to legend it was built by two sisters who had watch their lovers drown while they were trying to ford the Trent on horseback.
